Turkiye, we are preparing to host an exciting event in order to share the unifying power of sports with the whole world and to lead the formation of new friendships. The International Pickleball Tournament aims to introduce pickleball to a wider audience,establish strong ties between countries and take this sport one step further on its Olympic journey.

Turkiye is Hosting the International Pickleball Tournament!

From January 28 to 31, 2025, an international pickleball tournament will be held for the first time in Turkey at the 5-star Süral Resort Hotel, located in one of Antalya’s popular holiday destinations. The international pickleball tournament will go beyond being just a sports event, offering sports enthusiasts an unforgettable experience.

International Pickleball Courts Open in Antalya and Host a Historic Tournament!

Turkiye is opening the doors to a new era in sports. The professional indoor pickleball courts in Antalya, built to international standards, reveal the development of our country’s sports infrastructure and its vision of becoming a world-class sports centre. These courts will be not only a facility, but also a meeting point that attracts the attention of the international sports community.

The official international pickleball tournament to be held between 28-31 January 2025, is ready to host the global pickleball family.

This tournament, which will be followed from 77 different countries around the world and all 81 provinces of Turkey, will be a concrete indicator of the rise of pickleball in Europe.

This historical organisation, beyond being just a tournament, will offer a platform for countries to gain prestige, provide a platform where the pickleball family will compete under one roof, support equal opportunities, and allow individuals and athletes of all ages to improve themselves at international standards.

This special tournament, combined with the five-star comfort of Antalya, will reveal the unifying power of sports. This organisation will bring recognition in the international sports arena, economic contributions and our athletes reaching a level where they can compete worldwide.

Categories: The tournament will include Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, and Mixed Doubles. If there is enough demand, a Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles category will also be added (with a minimum of 12 teams participating)

Age Categories:  It will compete fiercely in groups in 13-35 age and 35-70+ age categories.

Tournament Status: The international pickleball tournament, which will be played in Single, Male, Single Female and Mix Categories, will consist of 4 groups of 4 (the number of groups may increase according to the participation status).

The groups will be played in a league style and 3 matches will be played in the group. While the top two athletes or teams will go to the next round, the 3rd and 4th teams in the groups will play 17-32 ranking.

The teams from the groups play a knockout match with a cross-match.

1st place in Group A with 2nd place in Group C

1st place in Group C with 2nd place in Group A

1st place in Group B with 2nd place in Group D

1st place in Group D with 2nd place in Group B

Semi-Final Pairings:

1st place in Group A with 2nd place in Group C, 1st place in Group D1 with 2nd place in Group B

Group C 1st place plays semi-final with Group A 2nd place winner, Group B 1st place plays semi-final with Group D 2nd place winner.

Winners play the Final and Losers play 3rd/4th place match.

Pickleball Prize Money Tournament Participation and Qualification Status

The purpose of this regulation is to recognise and reward athletes who excel in prize money pickleball tournaments and to establish a fair participation process. In the statute, the conditions and qualifications that determine the right to participate in tournaments are detailed.

1. Prize Money Tournament Participation Criteria:

1.1. The athletes ranked in the top 16 in the prize money tournaments are entitled to participate directly in the next prize money tournament.

1.2. In the special league to be organised after the tournament under the name of ‘Motivation League’, in which athletes between the ages of 17-32 will compete, the athletes who make it to the top 8 will also be entitled to participate in the next prize money tournament.

The Pickleball Tournament Prize is determined as 100.000 TL (3.000 USD) in total

Tournament Privileges:

• All-inclusive comfort: In the five-star comfort of Süral Resort Hotel, athletes and guests will experience the excitement of the tournament and enjoy a holiday.
• DUPR Score Records: All tournament scores will be uploaded to the international DUPR system, gaining official status.
• Live Broadcast: Tournament matches will be broadcast live so that they can be watched from all over the world.
• Special Events and Night: At the end of the tournament, a special night will be organised to bring all the athletes together. Surprise events and raffles throughout the tournament will turn the organisation into an unforgettable experience.

This tournament will be a meeting point that will attract not only athletes but also sports enthusiasts.
